The S&P 500 has been on quite a ride this year. Just a few days ago, on Oct. 18, the index of 500 of the largest companies listed on U.S. stock exchanges hit yet another milestone when it marked its 47th record closing high of 2024,

Target stock sliced through its 50- and 200-day moving averages today. Both trendlines sit just above $151. The stock also pressured round-numbered support immediately lower at $150.
