Wukong developer Game Science shares good news for PlayStation 5 users waiting for a physical release of the highly successful game.

PM Studios will distribute the newly announced physical edition of Black Myth: Wukong for PlayStation 5 in North America, South America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand, the company announced.

Boxed copies will contain a code for the Deluxe Edition content seen in the digital version on the PS Store, which means physical versions actually represent a $5 saving. There have been concerns over whether this is simply a "code in a box" physical release,

S console if a new rating for the 2024 hit is anything to go off of. An Xbox version of Black Myth: Wukong was recently spotted on the ESRB page for the game alongside the PlayStation 5 and PC platforms which already host the game.

Game Science has announced that the physical version of Black Myth: Wukong on PS5 all be dropping ‘very soon.’ Speaking on X, the studio revealed that the master disc is ready, so the physical version of the game is just around the corner.

Black Myth: Wukong's PS5 physical edition will reportedly cost $64.99 in the U.S., £59.99 in the UK, and €69.99 in Europe. That puts it slightly above the standard digital edition's price. Game Science has yet to reveal if the physical edition will come with additional items included in the game's more expensive deluxe edition.

Wukong X / Twitter account, the developer thanked fans for their patience and stated that “the master disc for Black Myth: Wukong is ready”. If you’re not familiar with the term, a master disc contains the final launch version of a piece of gaming software which is then copied on to further discs during the production process.
